Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System in Beachwood is seeking a Critical Response Dispatcher to support emergency response teams by managing dispatch and communications. You will triage requests, gather essential patient and incident information, and use CAD systems and established protocols to deploy medical resources.

This role helps ensure timely, accurate dispatch for the Medical Emergency Response Team and other units at Main Campus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of EMT or EMD program and current Ohio certification.
• Minimum 3 years of EMT/EMD experience and 911/dispatch background.

Responsibilities

• Receive and triage transport and patient-care requests.
• Answer emergency and non-emergency calls with real-time case monitoring.
• Collaborate with teams and track resources using CAD systems.
• Enter call information and dispatch units to emergencies and transports.
• Coordinate with clinical teams and accept services as needed.
• Utilize algorithms to provide immediate response for emergent cases.
• Support quality assurance, training, and continuous improvement.
