Job summary

GP Strategies Government Solutions is seeking an experienced Deputy Emergency Preparedness Training Project Manager to support managing a large-scale emergency preparedness and response training program for first responders and emergency management professionals across the United States.

Reporting to the Emergency Preparedness Training Program Manager, you will help oversee daily operations, workforce management, training delivery support, and contract performance in a dynamic, mission-driven

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field; equivalent experience considered.
Minimum of four years of supervision/management of program operations.
Experience with large operational programs and mission-critical initiatives.
Ability to obtain government security clearances if required.

Responsibilities

Support the Program Manager in the administration and execution of program operations.
Oversee personnel, resources, schedules, and activities supporting contract requirements.
Coordinate with instructors and staff to ensure successful program execution.
Act as alternate point of contact for government representatives.
Monitor performance and support achievement of goals and customer satisfaction.
Assist with staffing, workforce planning, and performance management.
Contribute to process improvements and safety/compliance.
Prepare reports and leadership updates.
Provide coverage for Training Program Manager as needed.
