Job summary

Rivet is seeking an Operations Manager II (Emergency Management) to support NAVWAR in the Washington DC area. You will lead continuity planning, emergency management operations, and safety programs across facilities and personnel, ensuring secure, reliable mission support.

You will coordinate DOC activities, trainings, and data reporting while maintaining compliance with OSH standards. Strong communication and Navy systems experience are required for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Word, and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
• Ability to work with various Navy and Marine Corps Systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, test, and exercise the annual Continuity of Operations/Continuity of Business Plan.
• Maintain mustering/reporting training guidance and coordinate annual continuity exercise training.
• Manage the Department Operations Center (DOC) and equipment, maintain SOPs, deliver Emergency Management training.
• Schedule and facilitate meetings; prepare read-aheads, minutes, and historical files.
• Support Safety/OSH operations for OSHA compliance and risk assessments.
• Document and process safety actions and enter data into ESAMS, RMI, NFTT systems.
• Track safety and EM tickets; provide weekly reports and trend analyses.
• Conduct daily facility walks and respond to business interruptions to restore operations.
