Job summary

Sancorp Consulting, LLC seeks an Operations Officer to support Marine Corps Installations-West, RDOC. This on-site role at Camp Pendleton involves activating the RDOC, coordinating mass notifications, and sustaining operations during heightened activity with a strong emphasis on timely response and asset management.

The ideal candidate has federal/state operations experience, GIS capability, and FEMA coursework, with an ability to adapt to a high tempo and ensure mission success.

Qualifications

• Degree in Emergency Management, Public Administration, Homeland Security, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in EOC/TOC/JOC/RECC environments or related operations roles.
• Experience in federal/state operations management and FEMA course completions.

Responsibilities

• Support RDOC for MCIWEST-MCB Camp Pendleton operations and current operations planning.
• Advocate effective use of Marine Corps assets within regional operations.
• Activate RDOC, manage mass notifications, and coordinate COOP actions when needed.
• Provide surge support during elevated activation periods and crises.
• Make recommendations to accomplish regional mission objectives.
• Manage resource ordering, track requests, and analyze ongoing operations.
• Coordinate with COMMSTRAT on public outreach via social media, press, and public meetings.
• Ensure RDOC readiness and cleanliness for operations.
• Execute duties for G-3/5 as directed with timely, professional delivery.
