Job summary

The Registered Nurse at St. Mary's Hospital - Kankakee is responsible for delivering safe patient care within the Emergency Services telemetry environment during night shifts. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, and guide patient/family education while collaborating with the medical team.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ALS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC 60 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facility Requirements: ECRN or MICN certificate within 12 months of hire and maintained current.
• EDAP certified facilities: Completion of required annual education.
• NRP certificate 90 days upon hire and maintain current.
• TNCC within 12 months of hire; TNCC preferred for non-trauma facilities.
