St. Mary's Hospital in Kankakee, IL is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the Emergency Services department. This full-time night shift (7:00 p.m.

– 7:30 a.m.) role requires delivering safe patient care using the nursing process and coordinating with physicians. You will hold an active RN license, BLS, ALS, PALS/ENPC, and ideally a BSN or CEN; ECRN/MICN within 12 months; TNCC preferred. The hospital offers a comprehensive benefits package, tuition reimbursement, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS certificate upon hire and maintain.
• ALS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain.
• PALS certificate and/or ENPC within 60 days of hire and maintain.
• CEN certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in the Emergency Department/Telemetry.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with the physician and ensure privacy and EMTALA compliance.
