Job summary

UTMB Health in Clear Lake, TX is seeking a Nurse Clinician II (RN) for the Emergency Department (10A-10P). Requires Texas RN license and current BLS; ACLS and PALS/ENPC are required with ED experience. Non-experienced ED nurses must obtain TNCC within 6 months of hire and TNCC within 6 months.

Six months of RN clinical experience or completion of probationary NC I period is required. The role focuses on advanced beginner nursing practice, simulation of professional standards, and collaboration

Qualifications

• RN license in Texas and active BLS certification are required at hire.
• ACLS and PALS/ENPC certifications are required or obtained within 6 months for ED nurses.
• TNCC must be obtained within 6 months from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care through nursing-based practices per standards.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Perform routine nursing procedures in the ED setting.
