Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents the daily care of assigned patients.
• Administers medications and treatments and delivers competent nursing care per UTMB policies.
• Provides patient/family education using Teach-Back and evidence-based resources.
• Plans, coordinates, and prioritizes patient care activities with inter-disciplinary team.
• Maintains safety and continuity of care through effective hand-off and rounding.
