Job summary

Kustom, founded in 1968, is a nationally acclaimed property restoration firm seeking a Mitigation Technician in Sanford, FL to respond to emergency and non-emergency service jobs.

You will perform advanced water and fire mitigation, mold remediation, and prepare work areas, equipment, and debris removal, while keeping vehicles stocked and coordinating with the Project Manager to complete projects safely and on schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• IICRC Water Restoration certificate preferred.
• Ability to identify consumables, usage and disposal requirements.
• Knowledge of various pump systems.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency board up, water extraction, and fire mitigation services.
• Prepare rooms and equipment for work activities and staging areas.
• Demolition and general clean up.
• Set drying equipment and monitor moisture levels until project completion.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and secure equipment.
• Interface with customers and relay information to Project Manager.
• Complete paperwork and provide job updates in the database.
