Job summary

Kustom is seeking a Mitigation Technician to respond to emergency and non-emergency jobs, performing advanced water and fire mitigation and mold remediation. You will prepare sites, operate drying equipment, and maintain vehicles and equipment with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Project Managers, completing required paperwork, and adhering to strict timelines while maintaining a professional customer experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• IICRC Water Restoration certificate is preferred.
• Must identify products, usage and disposal with training.
• Knowledge of various pump systems is required.
• Professional demeanor and strong work ethic are essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to be flexible based on business needs.
• Strong customer service principles and practices.
• Ability to meet deadlines under time constraints.
• Vehicle operation eligibility per policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency board up, water extraction, and fire mitigation.
• Prepare rooms and staging areas for work activities.
• Perform demolition and general clean up.
• Clean floors, walls, glass, and debris.
• Set up drying equipment and monitor moisture levels.
• Maintain organized work areas and store supplies securely.
• Interface with customers and relay information to Project Manager.
• Complete paperwork and upload job updates into the database.
• Maintain and inspect warehouse equipment and tools.
• Ensure company vehicle is stocked and ready.
• Monitor consumable stock and vehicle safety and appearance.
• Monitor jobsite safety hazards and mitigations.
• Participate in on-call after-hours service.
