Job summary

Kustom is seeking a Mitigation Technician to respond to emergency and non-emergency service jobs, performing advanced water and fire mitigation and mold remediation. You will maintain a stocked vehicle, prepare and secure work areas, and coordinate with the Project Manager while ensuring safety and quality on every site.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and a proactive, customer-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• IICRC Water Restoration certificate is preferred.
• Identify consumables, usage and disposal requirements with training.
• Knowledge of various pump systems.
• Strong communication, time management and customer service skills.
• Ability to work with time constraints to meet deadlines.
• Must be able to operate a vehicle per company policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency board up, water extraction, and fire mitigation services safely.
• Prepare rooms/areas for work activities, staging, and equipment setup.
• Perform demolition and general clean-up.
• Set drying equipment and monitor progress.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas; store tools securely.
• Interface with customers and relay information to the Project Manager.
• Complete paperwork, upload documents, and provide job updates.
• Maintain warehouse, equipment and supplies in good condition.
• Ensure company vehicle is stocked and monitor on-site safety.
