Job summary

Kustom seeks a Mitigation Technician in San Diego to respond to emergency and non-emergency service jobs, performing water and fire mitigation and mold remediation. You will prepare work sites, set up drying equipment, and monitor moisture levels until project completion.

Responsibilities include maintaining a stocked company vehicle, handling paperwork, relaying updates to the Project Manager, and ensuring safety on job sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• IICRC Water Restoration certificate preferred.
• Must be able to identify Product (consumables), usage and disposal requirements with training.
• Must have knowledge of various pump systems.
• Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be willing to be flexible based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency board up, water extraction, and fire mitigation services efficiently and safely.
• Prepare rooms/areas for work activities, including setting up staging areas and equipment.
• Perform demolition and general clean up.
• Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors and walls and removing debris.
• Set drying equipment and monitor moisture levels until completion.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and store equipment securely.
