Job summary

Kustom is seeking a Lead Mitigation Technician in Jacksonville, FL to supervise emergency and non-emergency service jobs, perform advanced water and fire mitigation, and remediate mold-affected areas. You will manage work areas, equipment setup, and moisture monitoring until project completion.

The role requires EPA/OSHA safety adherence, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate crews across site operations. This position is on-site with potential for odd hours as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5 years of supervisory experience in restoration construction.
• IICRC water certification required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee emergency water extraction services.
• Clean up and debris removal of damaged materials.
• Perform demolition tasks as needed.
• Set up emergency services equipment.
• Supervise crew members on job sites.
• Adhere to EPA, OSHA and local safety requirements.
• Direct teams in PPE usage and safety.
• Review daily project requirements and report progress to management.
• Inspect jobs for quality, safety and compliance weekly.
• Provide field documentation and sketches for projects.
• Develop humidity and psychrometry records and determine drying objectives.
• Calculate volumes for affected areas and request support for large losses.
• Maintain and repair drying equipment.
• Monitor stock of consumables.
• Daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections.
