Job summary

Kustom in Indianapolis, Indiana, is seeking a Mitigation Technician to respond to emergency and non-emergency service jobs for water and fire mitigation and mold remediation. You will prepare work areas, operate drying equipment, and monitor moisture levels through project completion.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, and preferably an IICRC Water Restoration certificate. You must be able to operate a company vehicle, work on-call shifts, and communicate effectively with customers

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• IICRC Water Restoration certificate preferred.
• Identify and dispose consumables with proper training.
• Knowledge of various pump systems and remediation methods.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency board up, water extraction and fire mitigation services safely.
• Prepare rooms and equipment for work activities and demobilize after.
• Demolish and clean work areas; manage debris.
• Set up drying equipment and monitor moisture levels until completion.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and secure equipment.
