Job summary

Kustom is seeking a Mitigation Technician in Auburn, WA to respond to emergency and non-emergency service jobs. You will perform water and fire mitigation, mold remediation, and related tasks, while keeping vehicles stocked and sites safe.

You will prepare work areas, set up equipment, monitor moisture levels, and coordinate with Project Manager. Strong communication and a sense of urgency are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• IICRC Water Restoration certificate preferred.
• Must identify consumables, usage and disposal requirements with training.
• Must have knowledge of various pump systems.
• Possess a sense of urgency, professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to be flexible and adaptable based on business needs.
• Deep knowledge of customer service principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency board up, water extraction, and fire mitigation services.
• Prepare rooms / areas for work activities including staging and equipment.
• Perform demolition and general clean up.
• Perform heavy cleaning duties and debris removal.
• Set drying equipment and monitor moisture levels until completion.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and securely store equipment.
• Interface with customers and relay information to Project Manager and Superintendent.
• Complete paperwork and update job records in the database.
• Maintain warehouse, equipment, and tools in good condition.
• Ensure company vehicle is stocked and monitor consumable stock.
• Monitor safety, security, and appearance of jobsites and vehicles.
• Identify and mitigate jobsite safety hazards.
• Participate in on-call schedule for after-hours service calls.
