Job summary

SourcePro Search, LLC is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a hospital-employed role in Mattoon, Illinois. The position offers a lucrative compensation package with double-physician coverage and a workloads designed to minimize burnout.

The ideal candidate will be BC/BE in Emergency Medicine with an Illinois license or eligibility, a valid DEA, and the ability to work within a structured three 10-hour shift rotation. Comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine.
• Active Illinois medical license or eligible.
• Valid DEA registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality ED care in a 32-bed department.
• Operate with double-physician coverage for patient care.
• Stabilize and coordinate transfers for high-acuity cases.
• Maintain timely electronic medical records for encounters.
• Collaborate with on-site specialties, including inpatient psychiatry.
• Manage a patient pace averaging fewer than two encounters per hour.
• Follow a predictable 15-shift per month rotation (6a–4p, 1p–11p, 4p–2a).
