Job summary

UW Health East Madison Hospital is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to deliver expert patient care in the Emergency Department and to support order verification and inpatient workflows. The role offers a 100% FTE schedule with day/evening/night shifts in a 7-on/7-off rotation and opportunities to precept pharmacy students.

The ideal candidate will have emergency medicine experience, a PharmD or Bachelors in Pharmacy, and completed ASHP residency or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Emergency medicine experience preferred (PGY2 in EM or equivalent).
• Ability to verify orders and support inpatient workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the Emergency Department as per UW Health standards.
• Assist with order verification and admissions/discharges for inpatient units.
• Opportunity to precept UW School of Pharmacy students.
