Job summary

Mercy Health System is seeking an EMT to perform direct patient care, assessment, and basic life support as part of Mercy EMS. The role requires an EMT license for the state of employment and a valid driver’s license, with Hazmat Awareness, BLS, and NIMS certifications within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• EMT license for the state where employed, valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 19 years old to operate Mercy EMS vehicles.
• Hazmat Awareness, BLS for Healthcare Providers, NIMS 100, 200, 700 and 800 within 90 days of hire.
• May be required to work differing shifts and schedules.
• Strong mobility and ability to work in challenging environments.
