American Medical Response in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an EMS Dispatcher Lead for a full-time position. You will respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, assign and route transportation, and communicate clearly to ensure quality care for our customers.

The role requires EMS dispatch knowledge, resource allocation, data entry, and reporting. Starting pay is $26.02 per hour, with opportunities for growth within a respected, nationwide EMS provider.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year EMS or public safety dispatcher experience, or medical training/telecommunications experience.
• Fluent reading and writing in English; ability to communicate clearly on radio/phone.
• Ability to record, transmit, and report information accurately; operate basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Understand and apply Emergency Medical Dispatch concepts per AMR standards.
• Allocate EMS resources using standard rules and approved protocols.
• Ensure complete and accurate paperwork at shift end.
• Enter data accurately; include State Run Report data as assigned.
• Generate reports and verify accuracy.
• Assist in locating scenes and selecting safest routes.
• Relay instructions and emergency information from supervisors.
• Maintain knowledge of company policies and procedures.
• Follow established parameters for receiving service requests.
• Know and use equipment including computer, printers, 911 equipment, recording devices, and phones.
