Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX seeks a full-time Clinical Staff Pharmacist focused on the ED and ICU. The role requires variable shifts with every third weekend.

The position supports patient care through medication management, counseling, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Eligible candidates hold a PharmD or BS with active licensing plans and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Education: BS or PharmD degree required.
• Experience: 1 year of pharmacy experience.
• Licenses: Eligible for Texas State Board of Pharmacy licensure; sterile compounding (IV) certification; BLS; advanced life support as required.

Responsibilities

• Process medication orders and maintain patient profiles.
• Review orders for safety, efficacy, and interactions.
• Communicate with physicians and staff; document interventions.
• Supervise technicians and ensure accurate dispensing.
• Participate in clinical program and P&T initiatives.
