CHRISTUS Health in Texas seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency and other clinical settings. The nurse practices independently, provides routine and complex care, and delegates appropriately to ensure safe patient care.

The role requires BSN, Texas RN license, 2+ years in ED and another specialty, with adherence to BLS/ACLS/TNCC/PALS timelines. Multiple shifts available; full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and RN licensure in Texas.
• Minimum of 2 years combined experience in the Emergency Department and another specialty.
• BLS required; ACLS required; TNCC required in Texas and New Mexico only; PALS required within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Provides nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Administers medications and treatments using established protocols; monitors for side-effects and effectiveness.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided.
• Educates patients, families, and caregivers; identifies issues and resources.
• Performs unit-specific competencies and ensures patient safety and quality of care.
• Assists in managing patient flow and coordinates with healthcare team to optimize outcomes.
