Job summary

North Memorial Health is seeking a Telecommunicator to triage calls in the Communication Center and document required information. You will provide timely Pre-Arrival Instructions and collaborate with the EMD/Dispatcher to ensure transportation requests are handled efficiently.

Candidate requirements include a high school diploma (medical terminology coursework preferred) and experience with multi-line phones. EMD certification or the ability to obtain within six months is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year medical setting experience with multi-line phones and triage.
• 2 years in customer service with multi-line phone experience in a call center.
• ETC certification or IAED coursework preferred within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Triage all calls in the Communication Center and document required information.
• Provide appropriate and timely Pre-Arrival Instructions to customers.
• Work closely with the EMD/Dispatcher to ensure transportation requests are handled efficiently.
