Job summary

IntelliPro is seeking a 911 Dispatcher/Operations Analyst for a 12-month contract in Norfolk, VA. The role supports outage response by gathering calls and data, dispatching crews, and monitoring service restoration. The ideal candidate has dispatch center experience, strong communication, and the ability to work in rotating shifts.

Onsite work at 2700 Cromwell Drive. The position offers competitive hourly pay and opportunities for extension based on performance.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle multiple tasks from start to finish, prioritizing and handling constantly changing priority levels.
• Ability to work under pressure and make well thought out decisions.
• Ability to analyze large subsets of data from multiple information sources and determine and create appropriate action plans.
• Strong customer service skills with prior experience in a long-term hands-on operations analyst role supporting internal and external clients.
• Prior dispatch skills (911 operations centers, utilities operations centers, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Gathers and analyzes customer calls and various computer data to determine location and cause of power outages.
• Efficiently dispatches first response personnel and repair crews to provide quick and logical response to outages and emergency situations.
• Performs callouts in ARCOS for service restoration, emergencies, planned overtime, and fill-shifts.
