Job summary

Concord Hospital is seeking an Emergency Department Technician to support registered nurses in a hospital ED. Duties include vital signs, IV placement, wound care, and ECGs, with administrative tasks such as transfers, order entry, and documentation. Requires BEMT or AEMT and BLS; high school diploma or GED is mandatory.

A minimum of 24 hours per month is required. Equal opportunity employer. The role reports to the Tech Manager with daily shift supervision by the Charge Nurse.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in direct patient care is strongly preferred.
• BEMT or AEMT certification and BLS CPR are required.

Responsibilities

• Support registered nurses in the Emergency Department with clinical duties such as taking vital signs, temperature and blood pressure.
• Assist with patient transfers, order entry, and discharge.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment and replenish supplies.
• Document patient information and assist with procedures as directed.
