Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides wound care.
• Assists with splinting and orthopedic devices.
• Performs ECGs.
• Performs phlebotomy and specimen collection.
• Labels and processes specimens.
• Performs bedside waived testing and maintains competency.
• Prepares patient and room for assessments and procedures.
• Obtains and reassesses vital signs.
• Applies cardiac monitoring.
• Records intake and output.
• Administers and assists with direct patient care and hygiene.
• Rounds on patients and anticipates needs.
• Responds to call lights promptly.
• Applies comfort and safety measures.
• Transports and retrieves patients, specimens, equipment, and supplies.
• Documents care provided in medical records.
• Performs CPR.
• Performs morgue care.
• Cleans and maintains environment and equipment.
• Maintains stock in EPIC system.
