Job summary

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and a year of relevant experience, with EMT licensure or basic life support certifications considered. This position offers nights and a 36-hour week with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Nurse Aide in good standing per state registry.
• EMT Basic/IV or higher licenses acceptable through national registry or state.
• Completion of Medical Assistant program where applicable.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers within 6 months unless exempt.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and RNs with patient care including phlebotomy and wound care.
• Transport patients and monitor vital signs using monitors as needed.
• Document procedures and observations in the EHR promptly.
• Coordinate communications between departments and EMS when required.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and follow safety standards.
• Assist with patient positioning and moving, lifting up to 50 lbs.
