Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking a Clinical Customer Coordinator for the Emergency Department at The Johns Hopkins Hospital to ensure smooth front-desk operations and support for clinical staff. The role is full-time with an evening shift and 40 hours per week.

The position supports physicians, nurses, and administrators, supervising clerical staff and coordinating projects to enhance patient flow and service delivery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months in healthcare or office setting.
• Interpersonal skills are needed to interact with patients, families and medical staff.
• Ability to initiate and build positive relationships following Johns Hopkins Customer Service standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word; proficiency with presentation and spreadsheet software preferred.
• Ability to learn and incorporate clinical and administrative automated systems and software into daily work duties.

Responsibilities

• Performs various integral activities to assist medical, nursing, and administrative staff in meeting unit, department, and institutional needs.
• Assists with coordinating, planning, developing, and implementing assigned projects.
• Oversees front desk and administrative duties.
• Responsible for day-to-day supervision and performance management of clerical support staff.
