Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital, part of Universal Health Services, seeks an Emergency Department Technician to support patient care and ED operations. The role includes stocking rooms, transporting patients, and assisting RNs and physicians as directed.

Qualifications

• EMT, CNA or Medical Assistant required.
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association required.
• Dysrhythmia certification within 6 months of hire.
• Phlebotomy certification California preferred.
• CPI certification within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Reports and documents in the ED information system including vital signs and bedside care.
• Provides telephone services, answers and directs calls, pages physicians, and handles safety code paging.
• Notifies ancillary departments of patient service needs in a timely manner.
