Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital is seeking an Emergency Department Technician to ensure bedside supplies, transport patients, and assist RNs and physicians with assessments and treatments. The role requires EMT/CNA/Medical Assistant credentials, BLS, and additional certifications within set timelines.

Qualifications

• EMT or CNA or Medical Assistant required.
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association is required.
• Basic dysrhythmia certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Phlebotomy certification – California preferred.
• CPI certification within first 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist RNs and physicians with assessments, examinations and treatments.
• Transport patients and stock rooms with supplies and linens.
• Provide bedside care, vital signs, and telephone paging as needed.
• Support clerical tasks in the ED information system and with unit clerk.
