Boston Medical Center (BMC) Emergency Department Technician in the Adult ED provides direct clinical and support services under RN supervision, delivering patient-centered care in a busy ED. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to support patients and families and uphold hospital standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS/CPR certification current or obtained within 30 days.
• Ability to pass clinical competency testing.
• Physical ability to perform job duties.
• Basic math and computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform delegated patient care interventions in the ED for patients and families.
• Provide clinical services: vitals, hygiene, dressing wounds, and emotional support.
• Maintain a safe, clean ED environment and assist with inventory.
• Contribute to efficient ED operations and quality patient outcomes.
