Job summary

Boston Medical Center (BMC) is seeking an Emergency Department Technician for our Adult ED. You will work under RN supervision to provide direct clinical and support services in a high-volume, team-based ED.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS and CPR current or within 30 days of start date.
• Ability to pass clinical competency testing.
• Physical ability to meet job responsibilities.
• Basic math and computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform delegated patient care interventions for ED patients and families.
• Assist with vital signs, bathing, feeding, wound care, hygiene, and emotional support.
• Maintain a safe, clean ED environment and inventory.
• Contribute to efficient ED operations and patient outcomes.
