Sierra Medical Center, part of Northern Nevada Health System, is hiring an ED Technician to assist with basic patient care under the direct supervision of the registered nurse. The 170-bed acute care hospital offers 24/7 ER care and a supportive environment.

This part-time position provides full benefits and a convenient schedule. Responsibilities include vital signs, patient transport, and helping with moving and lifting, with emphasis on compassion, teamwork and quality care.

Formación

• Current EMT or CNA Certification
• Current BLS Certification
• Prefer one year experience in an acute care setting

Responsabilidades

• Provides supportive care to the Emergency Dept patients under the direct supervision of the registered nurse or physician.
• Takes, documents, and reports vital signs. Reports abnormal results immediately to the registered nurse.
• Transports patients, as necessary to other departments and inpatient units.
• Assists with moving, ambulating and lifting patients.
