Job summary

Sierra Medical Center, part of Northern Nevada Health System, is seeking a Senior ED Technician for a full-time role with comprehensive benefits and a convenient schedule. You will assist with direct patient care needs within the scope of practice under direct supervision of the registered nurse and maintain a patient-care ready environment.

Responsibilities include taking and reporting vital signs, transporting patients, and supporting movement and comfort of patients in the Emergency

Qualifications

• Current AEMT Certification.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Prefer one year experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides supportive care to the Emergency Dept patients under the direct supervision of the registered nurse or physician.
• Takes, documents, and reports vital signs. Reports abnormal results immediately to the registered nurse.
• Transports patients, as necessary to other departments and inpatient units.
• Assists with moving, ambulating and lifting patients.
