Job summary

Concord Hospital is seeking an Emergency Department Technician II for the ED team. An EMT-B, EMT-A, or LNA provides direct and indirect patient care under RN or Paramedic supervision, supporting patient safety and comfort in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with labs, supplies, and clerical tasks, while maintaining readiness for medication administration and IV care under supervision. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• EMT-B, EMT-A, or LNA licensure.
• Basic Life Support (AHA).
• One year of EMT or LNA experience.

Responsibilities

• Responds to requests for patient care assistance as delegated by the RN.
• Maintains skill level to perform patient care tasks including IV catheter insertion and medication administration as delegated by the RN.
• Maintains skill level to administer medications as delegated by the RN.
• Collects and processes laboratory specimens.
• Maintains department supplies and equipment.
• Assists with clerical duties.
• Performs job-specific requirements and other duties as assigned.
