Concord Hospital in Laconia and Franklin, NH, is seeking an Emergency Department Technician II for the night shift. The EMT-B, EMT-A, or LNA will deliver direct patient care under RN guidance and help with environmental and supply tasks as part of the patient care team.

Required: high school diploma, 1 year EMT or LNA experience, and current EMT-B/EMT-A or LNA with BLS. The ED Tech II reports to the Nurse Manager with Charge Nurse supervision during shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• One year of prior EMT or LNA experience.
• Current EMT-B or EMT-A or LNA certification plus BLS.

Responsabilités

• Responds to requests for patient care assistance as delegated by the RN.
• Maintains skill level for patient care tasks, including IV catheter insertion and medication administration as delegated by the RN.
• Collects and processes laboratory specimens.
• Maintains department supplies and equipment.
• Assists with clerical duties.
• Serves as a preceptor for new employees.
