Job summary

Allina Health is seeking an Emergency Department Technician for an 8-hour evening/night shift at our Minneapolis location. The role supports RN-led patient care, including phlebotomy, EKG, wound care and equipment setup, with an emphasis on safety and rapid response in urgent situations.

Responsibilities include assisting with procedures, patient comfort, and room turnover, while participating in quality improvement activities and following policies to maintain a safe environment for patients

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent for positions utilizing i-STAT testing.
• CPR certification required (BLS) or obtained after hire.
• Experience in acute health care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care within RN scope including phlebotomy, EKG, wound care and patient comfort.
• Assist with procedures, equipment setup, and room turnover.
• Respond to patient needs and call lights; participate in quality improvement activities.
