Job summary

Allina Health’s WestHealth Emergency Department in Minnesota is seeking an Emergency Department Medical Technician for an evening shift. Responsibilities include phlebotomy, EKG, wound care, splinting and assisting with procedures under RN supervision.

This role supports patient safety and quality care in a high-urgency setting, with 12-hour evening shifts and a 0.75 FTE schedule. Requires EKG/EMT certification readiness and relevant education or experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent for positions utilizing i-STAT testing.

Responsibilities

• Independently provides direct and indirect patient care.
• Performs phlebotomy, EKG, wound care and splinting under RN direction.
• Education of durable medical equipment and assisting with procedures.
