Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician in Shakopee, MN, at our Level 3 Trauma Center. You will provide essential care under supervision, monitor patients, and assist with daily living activities to ensure safety and comfort during 12-hour evening/night shifts.

This 0.9 FTE role includes weekend rotation every 3rd weekend and a robust benefits program. Compliance with BLS and CNA credentials is required, with related training provided by Allina Health.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old (or 17 with HS diploma or GED).
• CNA program or equivalent certification required.
• NREMT certification upon hire or direct patient care experience acceptable.
• Completion of Allina Health Nursing Assistant Academy program is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document vital signs and patient status.
• Assist with activities of daily living and transfers under RN supervision.
• Respond to call bells and prioritize patient needs.
• Document care and communicate with the care team.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during transfers and positioning.
• Support registration and clerical duties as needed.
