Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital is seeking an Emergency Department Technician to support patient care in a fast-paced ED. You will ensure oxygen tanks on gurneys are full and stock rooms with necessary supplies while assisting RNs and physicians with assessments and treatments.

The role requires EMT, CNA, or Medical Assistant credentials, BLS certification, dysrhythmia knowledge within 6 months, and CPI within 90 days. Strong English communication and basic computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• EMT, CNA, or Medical Assistant certification required.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
• Basic dysrhythmia certification due within 6 months of hire.
• Current Phlebotomy certification – California preferred.
• CPI certification within first 90 days of employment.
• Strong written and verbal English communication; basic clerical skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure oxygen tanks are full and available on every gurney.
• Stock rooms with bedside supplies and linens; assist transports as needed.
• Assist RNs and physicians with assessments, examinations, and treatments.
• Support the unit clerk with clerical duties as directed by supervisor.
