Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department to provide rapid assessments, triage and patient-centered care. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses and support staff to ensure timely, safe and compassionate treatment in a high-volume ED.

Qualifications include 1 year of Emergency or Critical Care experience, California RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, NIHSS within 5 days of hire and CPI within 90 days.

Qualifications

• One year Emergency or Critical Care experience in an acute care facility.
• Registered Nurse with current California RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA) certifications required.
• NIHSS required within first week (5 days) of hire.
• CEN encouraged

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments appropriate to the patient’s clinical presentation/diagnosis, care setting, age, development level, and cultural and religious orientation in a timely manner.
• Performs assessments completely and accurately including, but not limited to, physical (i.e. assessment for pain, skin breakdown, risk for falls), psychological (i.e. cognitive and communicative skills or development), social status and other patient needs.
