Job summary

Temecula Valley Hospital is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse to deliver timely, patient-centered care in a fast-paced ED. You will assess and document clinical status, coordinate with the care team, and support patients and families in diverse situations.

Qualifications

• One (1) year Emergency or Critical Care experience in an acute care facility.
• Registered Nurse with current California RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA) certifications required.
• NIHSS required within first week (5 days) of hire.
• CEN encouraged; CPI certified within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• The Emergency Department Registered Nurse performs assessments appropriate to the patient’s clinical presentation/diagnosis, care setting, age, development level, and cultural and religious orientation in a timely manner.
• Performs assessments completely and accurately including, but not limited to, physical, psychological, social status and other patient needs.
