Job summary

Bothwell Regional Health Center is seeking an Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) to support the clinical team in a fast-paced ED. You will assist nurses and physicians with patient assessments, treatments, and procedures, ensuring timely, compassionate care in a high-acuity setting.

The role involves shifts, non-exempt status, and standing for extended periods while helping with patient mobility and emergency procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• EMT or CNA program/training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in triage by taking vital signs and preparing patients.
• Perform basic patient care tasks including wound care and phlebotomy.
• Support IVs, catheters, and other devices under supervision.
• Operate and maintain ED medical equipment.
• Document care in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Assist during examinations, procedures, CPR, and emergencies.
