Job summary

Bothwell Regional Health Center is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced ED. You will triage, assess, treat, and collaborate with physicians, maintaining patient safety and comfort throughout the care process.

The role requires ADN with MO RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and trauma certifications, with BSN preferred. Shift-based, non-exempt, on-site employment with a focus on teamwork and continuous learning.

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
  • Current MO RN license required.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS certs required; trauma certifications (TNCC, ATCN) required.
  • ENPC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform rapid patient assessments and triage upon ED arrival.
  • Provide direct nursing care and administer medications per orders.
  • Collaborate with physicians and care teams to develop care plans.
  • Monitor patients and adjust care plans as condition changes.
  • Assist with emergency procedures (wound care, IV, airway management, CPR).
  • Document care accurately in the EHR and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up care.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and quality improvement activities.
