Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking an Emergency Department team member to provide bedside nursing support under RN supervision. You will perform delegated patient care tasks, assist with bed mobility, vital signs, wound care, and basic procedures while maintaining patient safety and dignity.

Responsibilities include accurate charting, adhering to sterile techniques, collaborating with the health care team, and supporting discharge education.

Qualifications

• Bedside nursing tasks and patient care under RN supervision.
• Vital signs measurement and documentation.
• Basic nursing procedures such as dressing changes and wound care.
• Sterile technique and patient safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ambulation, bed mobility, and patient comfort.
• Document interventions and patient responses in the medical record.
• Support discharge planning and patient/family education.
• Prepare and assist with basic procedures as directed by nurse/physician.
• Maintain supplies and equipment readiness in patient care areas.
