Job summary

Bayhealth Medical Center is seeking an ED Technician I to support nursing staff in the Emergency Department. You will perform clinical nursing assistant tasks, including vital signs, venipuncture, IV insertion, EKGs, specimen collection, and patient transport under RN supervision.

Responsibilities include assisting with ED procedures, observing patients, and supporting age-diverse populations from neonates to geriatrics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with Bayhealth IV Access orientation.
• Bayhealth IV Access certification or completion within 3 months; validated IV competency.

Responsibilities

• Follow plan of care for ED Tech I under RN supervision.
• Obtain vitals, venipuncture, IV insertion, EKG, and specimen collection.
• Transport patients and assist with ED procedures and patient comfort.
