Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Offers unsolicited assistance for help.
• Assists organizational EVS employees with room turnover and preparation for patient care areas for additional patients.
• Completes delegated tasks in a timely manner.
• Promotes health in a safe environment and ensures patient safety.
• Maintains communication with staff via radio and responds quickly to requests for assistance.
• Documents all patient interactions in the medical record.
• Keeps ED supplies stocked and ready for patient care areas.
• Maintains a clean, clutter-free work environment.
• Performs phlebotomy with labeling in compliance with policy.
• Participates in Haz-Mat training and proper donning/doffing of materials.
• Performs EKG, patient registration, transportation, point-of-care testing, and reports results to appropriate provider.
