Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA is seeking a Full-time Emergency Department Technician for the evening shift. The ED Tech assists clinicians in implementing care plans for emergency patients and performs procedures under supervision, with rapid de-escalation and occasional intervention as needed.

New hires must have EMT-B certification (state or national) at time of hire or meet an equivalent criterion, and BLS certification within 90 days.

Formación

• EMT-B certification at time of hire (state or national) or equivalent.
• BLS certification due within 90 days of hire.
• Previous clinical experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist physicians, advanced practitioners, or nurses with care plans for emergency patients.
• Perform patient procedures and treatments under supervision.
• Provide de-escalation and, if needed, physical intervention when required.
