Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA is hiring a part-time Emergency Department Technician for Swing Shift (11:00am–11:00pm), 24 hours/week. The ED Tech assists the medical team in implementing care plans and performing patient procedures under supervision.

Requirements include HS diploma, BLS within 90 days, and EMT-B or equivalent, or active clinical student status. Prior ED exposure is a plus; candidates with Sentara ED tech experience are considered.

Formación

• HS graduate or equivalent.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• EMT-B certification or equivalent required; military hospital corps or clinical student path also acceptable.

Responsabilidades

• Assist physicians, advanced practitioners, or nurses in plan of care for ED patients.
• Perform procedures and treatments under supervision.
• Contribute to de-escalation and patient safety in a fast-paced ED.
