Sentara Lake Ridge/ Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA seeks an Emergency Department Tech to assist with care plans for emergency patients and perform supervised procedures. This role emphasizes teamwork with physicians and advanced practitioners in a fast-paced ED environment.

Eligible incumbents will complete de-escalation and physical intervention training within 15 days of hire and BLS within 90 days. The hospital offers robust benefits and competitive compensation.

Formación

• Minimum education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• EMT-B with state or national certification at hire or equivalent.
• US Military Hospital Corps School, MMAC candidates or equivalent.
• Current student enrolled in a clinical program with at least one completed semester.
• Prior Sentara ED tech experience within past two years may be considered in lieu of other criteria.

Responsabilidades

• Assists physician, advanced practitioner, or nurse in implementing plans of care for emergency/minor emergency patients.
• Performs patient procedures and treatments under supervision of physician, advanced practitioner, or nurse.

Educación

High School Diploma or equivalent

EMT-B certification (state or national)

US Military Hospital Corps School / MMAC

Current student in clinical program (RN/LPN/Resp/PT)

Sentara ED tech experience (past 2 years)
