Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA is seeking a Part Time Emergency Department Technician to support the ED team during a swing shift (11:00am–11:00pm), 24 hours per week. The role involves assisting physicians and nurses, performing procedures under supervision, and helping manage a fast-paced emergency department.

Requirements include HS diploma, BLS within 90 days, and EMT-B or equivalent or active clinical student status. Prior clinical experience is preferred.

Formación

• De-escalation and physical intervention training within 15 days of hire.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• EMT-B or related certification/education candidates may be considered.
• HS or equivalent education is required.

Responsabilidades

• Assists the Physician, Advanced Practitioner, or Nurse in implementing plans of care for emergency/minor emergency care patients.
• Performs patient procedures and treatments under supervision.
• Contributes to care in a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency department.
